"Can I call my dad?." Hoops asks into the holes.
"Is the elevator working?" the voice replies.
The elevator door closes.
"Yes its working." Hoops answers.
"Do you need help?" the voice asks.
"Yes. I was here on an excursion from Camp Poo-Lagoon, but the bus left wiithout me. When Papa comes to pick me up tomorrow he will be so worried. Can I call my dad to let him know?"
There is a moment of silence.
"Do you know your dads phone number?"
"Yes." Hoops rolls back his sleve where Papa's phone number is embroidered on his arm.
"This phone only calls me but I can call him for you would like?"
