Star Scouts
Star Scouts is a unique Scouts SA Group that provides an alternative scouting program for youth aged 5 - 26 who cannot attend another Scout Group because of societal expectations.
Star Scouts meet 3 times a year:
- Years beginings. 24th of January. Youth brainstorm, discuss, and plan their time at Poo-Lagoon.
- Camp Poo-Lagoon. 16th of June - 6th of July. 4 week camp. Find more details in our Activities page.
- Awards Ceremony 13th of July. Youth are rewarded their badges.
Star Scouts is not the same as the Lone Scouts. The Lone Scouts are youth who cannot access a scouting group because they live in rural or remote places. Star Scouts are youth who cannot access a scouting group because of societal expectations . For more information, visit our Eligibility page.
